ALH Hotels’ Nudgee Beach Hotel is seeking a confident Night Manager to lead the busy night shift, close operations across departments, and ensure a secure, high-standard floor environment. You’ll balance warm guest engagement with sharp operational oversight.

You’ll work with the Venue Manager and Assistant Manager, handling cash, security, and compliance while guiding a team of hospitality professionals to deliver great nightly service.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in bar, bistro or gaming areas.
• Current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence per state requirements.
• Willingness to lead a hospitality team during peak nights and closes.

About The Role

Night Manager | Nudgee Beach Hotel

(Internally referred to as Assistant Manager)

Are you a confident, hands-on Assistant Manager who thrives in driving evening atmosphere, closing operations, and maintaining a secure, high-standard floor environment? The Nudgee Beach Hotel is looking for a dedicated Night Manager to take ownership of our busy night shifts, lead our night team, and steer seamless closes across all departments.

In this role, you will be the primary leader on the floor during peak evening trade through to closing time. Working alongside our Venue Manager and Assistant Manager group, you will balance warm guest engagement with sharp operational oversight, cash administration, floor security, and compliance.

A Day In The Life Of a Night Manager

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

About You

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step upYou’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
