Endeavour Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Nudgee Beach Hotel in Brisbane. This hands-on role requires a floor-focused leader who can mentor a strong team, manage daily operations, and uphold high service standards across all areas of the pub.

You will work across bar, bistro and gaming lounge with a focus on delivering a vibrant guest experience and leading by example, while maintaining safety and compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties.
• Experience supervising in bar, bistro or gaming room preferred.
• RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements.

Are you a hospitality professional ready to take the lead at one of the busiest spots in Brisbane’s north? The Nudgee Beach Hotel is looking for a high-energy, floor-focused Assistant Manager who lives for the buzz of a packed house and a high-performing team.

"The Nudgee" is a total engine room. Whether it's a massive family lunch in our bistro or a high-stakes night in our premier gaming lounge, there is never a dull moment. We need a versatile leader who can command the floor, mentor a great crew, and keep the standards sky-high across all departments.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
