Job summary

Australia Post's Toowoomba region is seeking an Indoor Delivery Officer to help move parcels through our network in a fast-paced environment. You will load, sort and dispatch items on the dock, weighing and processing ULDs to keep deliveries on track.

You will work with a team to stage and load parcels safely, operate pallet jacks, and maintain a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork during overnight hours. This permanent full-time role supports essential community services.

Qualifications

• Willing to work extra hours when needed and maintain safety.
• Able to handle mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Clear, proactive communication with teammates and supervisors.
• Experience with pallet jacks or stackers is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Physically load parcels and mail into trailers and ULDs.
• Dock-side receiving, sorting and preparing parcels for dispatch.
• Weigh and process ULDs in line with operational requirements.
• Set up the dock and work areas to support daily operations.
• Stage and load parcels safely and efficiently as part of a team.
• Operate pallet jacks and stackers where required.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, teamwork and operational excellence.
