Job summary

Australia Post in Townsville is hiring a Freight Handler / Forklift Driver for the Mount St John facility. You will safely operate a forklift, sort product on the floor and load parcels for delivery drivers to head out on the road.

This 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday role offers a competitive hourly rate of $34.83 plus 13% super and an additional 17.5% penalty, with overtime rates and leave loading applied to annual leave accruals.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LF Forklift Licence with experience.
• Be fit enough to lift/load and unload mail/parcel items of all shapes/sizes.
• Be safety-focused and willing to undergo checks (medical, drug/alcohol, police).

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a forklift and sorting product on the floor.
• Loading parcels/pallets for delivery and transport drivers to head out on the road.
