Job summary

QT Hotels & Resorts in Sydney, NSW, Australia, is seeking a Front Office/Night Audit professional to ensure smooth guest check-in/out, accurate revenue posting, and nightly audit integrity. The role requires strong guest service skills, cash handling, and proficiency with hotel PMS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently check guests in and out, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel procedures.
• Process daily guest transactions and reconcile accounts, including posting all accommodation, food, beverage, and miscellaneous revenue.
• Complete the night audit process thoroughly, identifying and resolving any discrepancies between revenue and payments.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with tact and care.
• Maintain clear communication with the Night Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all cashiering, accounting, and audit policies, maintaining accurate documentation to support financial integrity.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in a similar Front Office role in a hotel with the ability to deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating and responding to guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Strong knowledge of front office operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and reservation management.
• Demonstrated experience in processing financial transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in hotel property management systems and night audit functions, with attention to detail in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
