Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight Front Office operations with a focus on guest service and financial precision. You will manage inquiries, perform nightly audits and ensure accurate cash handling and reporting.

The role requires experience in front office or night auditing, strong numerical skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Description

• Deliver a warm, personalised and professional welcome to all guests, ensuring every interaction reflects Sofitel's luxury service standards.
• Manage overnight Front Office operations, responding to guest enquiries, requests and complaints with discretion, efficiency and care.
• Complete nightly financial audits, ensuring all revenue, charges, payments and transactions are accurately processed and reconciled.
• Perform end-of-shift cashiering and reconciliation, maintaining precise records and adhering to hotel financial controls and procedures.
• Coordinate guest wake-up calls, valet parking, express check-outs and other overnight service requirements with attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate guest registration details, guest history records, VIP flags, diary events and special requests to support personalised service.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering and other departments to ensure smooth overnight operations and a seamless handover to the morning team.
• Prepare and distribute required financial and operational reports accurately and within designated timeframes.
• Uphold hotel security protocols, safeguarding guest valuables, confidential information and hotel assets throughout the night.
• Champion VIP guest recognition and Cousu Main personalised service initiatives, creating thoughtful experiences that reflect the Sofitel brand.
• Identify and report operational issues, safety hazards and guest concerns promptly, contributing to a safe and secure environment for guests and Heartists.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Front Office, hotel reception, night auditing or a similar customer-facing hospitality role.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to complete financial reconciliations and handle transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and guest-focused approach to service.
• Confidence working independently overnight, exercising sound judgement and responding calmly to unexpected situations.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
• A commitment to confidentiality, hotel security, workplace health and safety, and compliance with established procedures.
• A luxury service mindset, a collaborative attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within Sofitel and Accor.
