Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is seeking a Housekeeping Quality Manager to lead SOPs, quality inspections and audit programmes that uphold luxury standards. You will coach teams, drive improvements in presentation, safety and efficiency, and work closely with leaders to sustain exceptional guest experiences.

You will develop training materials, monitor audit results and collaborate with suppliers to ensure consistent, premium service across all areas of the hotel.

Qualificações

• Experience in housekeeping operations or quality assurance within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of luxury housekeeping standards, room presentation and cleanliness.
• Knowledge of quality auditing (LQA) and translating audit findings into improvements.
• Ability to coach, train and support team members to achieve standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
• Strong organisational and communication skills across departments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of Housekeeping SOPs aligned with Sofitel brand standards and operational needs.
• Conduct routine and ad-hoc quality inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Champion QA and LQA auditing, ensuring standards across all shifts with coaching and follow-up.
• Analyse housekeeping processes to identify efficiency gains and cost optimisations.
• Collaborate with Executive Housekeeper, leaders, contractors, and suppliers to sustain consistent standards.
• Coordinate briefings, support daily workflow, and drive a culture of accountability and service excellence.
• Develop and deliver training materials and ongoing coaching on brand standards, hygiene, safety and presentation.
• Monitor audit results and guest feedback; implement corrective and preventive actions using HubOS.
• Maintain quality assurance records and compliance documentation.

Job Description

Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring alignment with Sofitel brand standards and operational requirements.

Conduct routine and ad-hoc quality inspections across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces to maintain exceptional cleanliness, presentation and safety standards.

Champion quality assurance and LQA auditing, ensuring standards are consistently achieved across all shifts through regular inspections, coaching and follow-up.

Analyse housekeeping processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance quality outcomes and optimise operational costs.

Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper, department leaders, contractors and suppliers to maintain consistent standards and drive continuous improvement.

Coordinate team briefings, support daily workflow and task allocation, and contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration and service excellence.

Develop and deliver engaging training materials and ongoing coaching for team members, covering brand standards, presentation, hygiene, chemical handling and workplace safety.

Support performance reviews and team development through constructive feedback, coaching and practical learning opportunities.

Monitor quality audit results, guest feedback and cleanliness-related satisfaction metrics, using HubOS to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain accurate quality assurance records, inspection reports and compliance documentation, ensuring relevant issues are addressed and resolved.

Promote compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and the Accor InterREACT programme, contributing to a safe and well‑maintained working environment.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

Experience in housekeeping operations, quality assurance or a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.

Strong understanding of luxury housekeeping standards, room presentation, cleanliness and quality control processes.

Knowledge of quality auditing, with an understanding of LQA standards and the ability to translate audit findings into practical improvements.

Demonstrated ability to coach, train and support team members to achieve consistent operational standards.

Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying service gaps and implementing solutions.

Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across departments.
