Job summary

SA Health is seeking a healthcare professional to contribute to procedures for effectively dealing with people exhibiting challenging behaviours. The role focuses on supporting and guiding newer or less experienced staff, including Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and other workers providing basic nursing care.

It also encompasses health promotion and education for patients, clients or groups and carers to improve health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competence in perioperative scrub/scout nursing practice.
• Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible in healthcare settings.
