Ventia seeks a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead a newly developed warehouse operation in Mitchell, ACT, overseeing material management for telecommunications projects. You will supervise receiving, storing, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch activities to support project delivery.

Formación

• Valid Forklift Licence (LF) – essential.
• Current driver's licence.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, storeperson or warehousing leadership.
• Ability to lead, coach and support team members.
• Experience using WMS and TMS.
• Intermediate computer skills: Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proactive hands-on approach with leadership by example.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability for manual handling.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Allocate workloads, monitor performance and ensure timely completion.
• Promote a safe, accountable, continuously improving team culture.
• Monitor productivity and SOP compliance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure inventory accuracy via cycle counts and stock takes.
• Operate forklifts and equipment safely as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Conduct safety inspections and implement actions.
• Ensure compliance with Ventia policies and safety requirements.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to management.
