Qualifications

• Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Supervised student clinical experience in an adult acute care setting with assessment, intervention, case management and discharge planning.
• Strong interest in developing clinical skills in adult swallowing and communication disorders in an acute tertiary teaching hospital.
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate assessment and intervention for inpatients with swallowing and communication disorders.
• Assist with daily management of the acute medical and surgical inpatient population.
• Deliver high‑quality speech pathology services across hospital and Northern Sydney Local Health District.
