NBMLHD invites applications for a Mental Health Social Worker - New Graduate Rotational Program at Nepean Mental Health Centre. This 24-month temporary full-time program offers two twelve-month rotations across inpatient and community settings within NBMLHD.

As a new graduate, you will develop skills in assessment, intervention and collaborative care, supported by supervision and mentorship. Eligibility requires a Social Work degree and registration readiness in Australia.

Qualifications

• Be a new graduate within 12 months of graduation from a Social Work program at the time of application.
• Knowledge of the social work role in the health system.
• Sound verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated capacity for self-reflection.
• Demonstrated capacity to link theory and practice in working with clients.
• Current driver's license and willingness to use for work purposes.

Responsabilités

• Complete two twelve-month rotations across inpatient and community mental health settings.
• Support consumers during intensive treatment and recovery in acute services.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver recovery-oriented care.
• Contribute to assessment, intervention and care coordination across settings.
