Job summary

Carey is seeking a Learning Development Assistant to join our Middle & Senior School Learning Development team in Melbourne. This full-time role commences at the start of Term 1, 2027 and reports to the Head of Learning and Talent Development.

You will support students with additional learning needs to complete curriculum tasks and help develop independent learning skills. You will contribute to developing learning plans, collaborate with Learning Development, Classroom and Subject Teachers, and

Qualifications

Certificate III or IV in School Based Education Support is required or highly valued.
Experience in Education Support within schools is highly valued.
Strong organisation and communication skills essential.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with staff and students.
Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

Support middle and senior school students with learning needs to complete curriculum tasks.
Help develop learning skills to foster independent learning.
Assist in developing learning plans and coordinate with teachers.
Take on administrative tasks such as timetabling and attendance tracking.
Collaborate across Learning Development, Classroom and Subject Teachers.
