Requirements include Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent), registration with the state authority, and a reliable car for activities and outings. Driving is required.

Qualifications

• Must be working towards or hold a Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or other ACECQA approved qualification).
• Registered with the relevant state authority board and have WWCC, Police Check, CPR.
• Ability to plan age-appropriate activities and adapt to changes in the day.

Responsibilities

• Plan age-appropriate activities for a preschooler and a school-aged child.

• Recognise and respond to heightened emotions, helping children reset calmly.
