Job summary

Eastern Health is seeking a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the Specialty Medicine team at Box Hill Hospital, delivering physiotherapy across Stroke, Neurology, Oncology and Renal services. The role suits a clinician with acute neurological experience who wants to expand expertise within a rotational, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in acute stroke/neurology clinical practice.
• Highly developed communication, teamwork and leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Sound knowledge of community organisations and networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services across Stroke, Neurology, Oncology and Renal specialties.
• Deliver evidence-based assessment and treatment in the acute stroke service setting.
• Work within Box Hill Hospital's multidisciplinary team to support in-reach rehabilitation and innovative care models.
• Contribute to student education, quality improvement and service development initiatives.
