Job summary

Melbourne Private Hospital, part of Healthscope, invites applications for a Grade 2 Acute Physiotherapist to join our experienced Allied Health team in Parkville.

You will deliver ward-based physiotherapy, contribute to assessments and discharge planning, and work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to support high acuity patients.

Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor in Physiotherapy are required, with Acute hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Experience in acute hospital settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy services to wards.
• Deliver clinical assessment, treatment planning and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
• Assist with discharge planning and referrals to external services.
