Job summary

HireAlice is seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Network Designer to design and support high-availability networks in Melbourne. The contract runs until June 30th with potential to extend into other exciting projects.

Responsibilities include designing resilient networks, maintaining data centre reliability, leading incident response, implementing firewall and security controls, and executing migrations in complex environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in network design or senior network engineering.
• Hands-on data centre networking experience.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, VXLAN, IGPs and Layer 2.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls in complex environments.
• Data centre and backbone technologies (MPLS, internet routing).
• Strong focus on reliability, resilience and uptime.
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper environments.

Senior Network Engineer / Network Designer Location: Melbourne Contract: till June 30th We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer / Network Designer to design and support. and have opportunitis to extend into other exciting projects after this one.
