Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Network Engineering Team Lead to join the growing practice and lead major network infrastructure and security initiatives for an Enterprise Banking organisation. This Sydney-based, hybrid role requires hands-on Cisco ACI and F5 expertise.

You will lead delivery, drive security hardening, and mentor Network Services engineers while ensuring ITIL-aligned operations and vendor performance.

Qualifications

• Senior network engineering leadership with enterprise experience.
• Hands-on Cisco ACI and F5 experience.
• Strong knowledge of network security hardening and ITIL practices.
• Experience managing vendor performance and service reviews.
• Capacity planning, lifecycle management, and architectural design.

FinXL is seeking an experienced Network Engineering Team Lead to join our Network Engineering consulting practice. In this engagement you will deployed with an Enterprise Banking organisation on a high-profile infrastructure transformation project. This is a Sydney based position (Hybrid). This position would require recent hands-on experience with Cisco ACI & F5.

Responsibility

Lead and deliver network infrastructure components for strategic enterprise initiatives

Key Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience in technical and people leadership within enterprise networking

Expertise across Cisco networking, firewalls, F5, and related infrastructure platforms

Strong knowledge of network security hardening, compliance, and risk mitigation

Proven ability to evaluate and adopt emerging tech (SD-WAN, ACI, NSX, SDA)

Experience managing vendor and contractor performance and service reviews

Background in capacity planning, lifecycle management, and architectural design

Solid understanding of ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management
