Job summary

Michael Page Australia represents a not-for-profit Melbourne organisation undertaking a major network refresh across 100+ sites. You will provide day-to-day support and drive improvements across LAN, WAN, and cloud networking in a multi-site environment.

The successful candidate will have 3–4 years in a Network Engineer role, strong Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto experience, Azure networking exposure, and CCNA certification. Fixed-term contract with a collaborative team culture awaits.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day network support across multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot network incidents, service requests and performance issues.
• Support and administrate Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto environments.
• Manage LAN, WAN and internet connectivity services.
• Deliver network refresh and upgrade projects.
• Configure, monitor and maintain Azure networking components.
• Support FTTP and FTTC/FTTN broadband connectivity.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and security teams.
• Maintain network documentation and standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance performance.

Our client is an organisation within the not-for-profit sector based in Melbourne. They are going through massive network refresh project across 100+sites in Australia.

Job Description

• Provide day-to-day support for network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, service requests and performance issues.
• Support and administer Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto network environments.
• Manage LAN, WAN and internet connectivity services.
• Deliver network refresh and upgrade projects.
• Configure, monitor and maintain Azure networking components.
• Support FTTP and FTTC/FTTN broadband connectivity solutions.
• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud and security teams.
• Maintain network documentation and technical standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network performance and reliability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Network Engineer should have:

• 3-4 years' experience in a Network Engineer role, preferably working in a multi-site environment.
• Strong experience with Cisco Meraki networking solutions, Palo Alto firewalls.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure networking services, including virtual networks, VPNs and connectivity.
• Strong understanding of: LAN and WAN technologies, Routing and switching,Network security principles, SD-WAN concepts
• Experience supporting multi-site environments.
• Experience working with FTTP, FTTN, FTTC or similar telecommunications technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• CCNA certification is mandatory
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
