Job summary

Ventia is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Telecommunications team on a major project based in Adelaide. You will design, deploy, support and optimise critical network infrastructure and security platforms within a complex enterprise and industrial environment.

Adelaide-based or relocation to Adelaide is required for the project, with opportunities for career development within a leading infrastructure services provider that values safety and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, BGP and OSPF in enterprise networks.
• Hands-on with Cisco IE3500, Catalyst 9300 and Nexus platforms.
• Proficient with Palo Alto PAN-OS, firewall policies and NAT.
• VMware vSphere/ESXi and vCenter administration.
• Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Strong network design, documentation and troubleshooting.
• TCP/IP, VLANs, STP/RSTP, QoS and network security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimise critical network infrastructure and security platforms.
• Support and maintain networks within complex enterprise and industrial environments.
• Lead documentation and troubleshooting across the network stack.
• Collaborate with project teams on large-scale telecom deployments.

Ventia is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Telecommunications team on a major project based in Adelaide.

Working within a complex enterprise and industrial network environment, you'll be responsible for the design, deployment, support and optimisation of critical network infrastructure, security platforms and supporting systems. Applicants must be Adelaide-based or willing to relocate to Adelaide for the project.

About You

• You will bring strong experience across:
• Cisco networking technologies including IOS/IOS-XE, BGP, OSPF and switching
• Cisco IE3500, Catalyst 9300 and Nexus platforms
• Palo Alto firewalls including PAN-OS, security policies and NAT
• VMware vSphere/ESXi and vCenter administration
• Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
• Network design, documentation and troubleshooting
• TCP/IP, VLANs, STP/RSTP, QoS and network security fundamentals

Highly Regarded

• Experience with Panorama management
• Exposure to OT/industrial network environments
• Knowledge of NPS, Certificate Services and other AD-integrated services
