Amazon Web Services (AWS) Core Networking team seeks a Network Development Engineer to build, deploy, and scale AWS networks across multiple global datacenters. You will drive reliability and efficiency while collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, repeatable networking solutions.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and IP protocols.
• Minimum 2+ years in large-scale networking environments.
• Experience with Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python for automation.

Responsabilidades

• Create and implement changes on the network.
• Work closely with our automation teams in defining the tools that allow us to scale at a higher volume.
• Lead network projects in network engineering, deployment/implementation, scaling, technology refresh, and optimization.
• Sustain AWS networks for large customers by diagnosing, mitigating impact, and resolving events.
• Operate and troubleshoot routing, interconnection, platforms, performance, configurations; including Unix interactions and networking tools.
• Drive and support innovation from ToR to Network Border and other segments.
• Partner with broader Network/Infrastructure orgs on standards and tools.
• Collaborate with Network/Systems/Software teams for fast roll-out of networking software tools.
• Maintain standards across the networking toolset and ensure compliance.
• Deliver simple, sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes.
• Collaborate with escalation engineers/resolvers.
• Create and review documentation and process regarding deployments, recurring issues, SOPs, knowledge transfer.
