Job summary

Federal Government Client is seeking a Network Architect for a long-term contract in Canberra. The role focuses on developing enterprise network architectures and translating them into implemented outcomes across large ICT environments.

Key duties include designing and implementing secure network architectures using Fortinet technologies, leading architectural governance, and ensuring alignment with operational requirements within a complex, multi-vendor environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise network architectures.
• Demonstrated high-level expertise designing and implementing enterprise network security architectures, including Fortinet technologies, within a multi-vendor environment.
• Experience leading the design and implementation of complex network solutions across routing, switching, security, load balancing, WAN and cloud-connected environments.
• Experience applying Commonwealth security frameworks (ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight) to network architecture, design and implementation activities.
• Ability to provide technical leadership, architecture governance and design assurance across multiple concurrent initiatives.

One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Network Architect. This is a long-term contractual position.

Contract Duration: 03 Years (12 months initially + 24 months extension)

Work Location: Canberra (03 Days office/02 Days home per week)

Eligibility: Australian Citizen with Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance

Position Description

• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise network architectures and translating them into implemented outcomes within large and complex ICT environments.
• Demonstrated high-level expertise designing and implementing enterprise network security architectures, including significant experience with Fortinet technologies and services, within a complex multi-vendor environment
• Demonstrated experience leading the design and implementation of complex network solutions across routing, switching, security, load balancing, WAN and cloud-connected environments.
