Indigitise in Canberra, ACT, is seeking a .NET Developer for an initial contract ending 30 June 2027. The role requires an active NV1 security clearance and hybrid working from the National Office in Canberra, with potential relocation restrictions.

You will work with the project team to uplift existing code, deliver enhancements, and align with AEC standards while using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and .NET technologies.

Qualifications

• Active NV1 security clearance required before commencement.
• Experience with C# and .NET in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Agile software development and SDLC.
• Ability to produce well designed, tested code and documentation.
• Experience with cloud-based applications development is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the SDLC to develop and enhance a C#-based, n-tier enterprise software with accompanying documentation according to AEC standards.
• Develop automated build and deployment scripts using .NET Framework and modern .NET technologies.
• Follow Agile methodologies using tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Coordinate with technical and business teams to resolve issues in production environments.
• Provide analysis on complex issues and contribute to policy and project management tasks.
• Develop and maintain key internal and external relationships with stakeholders across dispersed networks.
• Provide specialist guidance, reporting, and support for team responsibilities.

Working Arrangements

HybridThe successful candidate will perform the role from the National Office in Canberra. Hybrid working arrangements (i.e. a combination of onsite attendance at an AEC office and remote working) may be considered at the discretion of the Hiring Manager. Candidates proposing relocation or long-distance commuting arrangements will not be considered.

Requirements

Key duties andresponsibilities

.Net Developers will beresponsible for, but not limited, to:

• Participating inthe Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop and enhance a C#based, n-tier, enterprise software and associated documentation inaccordance with AEC Standards.
  
• Developingautomated application build and deployment scripts using .NET (Frameworkand modern .NET), and the broader Microsoft technology stack.
  
• Following theAgile Methodology for software development using tools such as AzureDevOps.
  
• Liaising withtechnical and business area staff to facilitate the rapid resolution ofissues and/or faults within fielded production.
  
• Providing analysison complex issues and contributing to the management, preparation, andcoordination of policy formulation and/or project management.
  
• Developing andsupporting key internal and external relationships, including managingstakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals and represent theagency by promoting its interests in various forums.
  
• Providing accuratespecialist advice, guidance, and reporting on team functionalresponsibilities.
