The Royal Women's Hospital in Parkville, Melbourne, is seeking an Associate Unit Manager for the Neonates NICU. Lead the NICU team, collaborate with NUMs, and help deliver high‑quality care to babies and families while supporting departmental operations.

You will bring Div 1 Nursing/Midwife registration with AHPRA and a Postgraduate Neonatal Nursing qualification or equivalent, plus previous management experience.

Qualifications

• Div 1 Nursing and/or Midwife Registration with AHPRA + Post Graduate Neonatal Nursing qualification or equivalent
• Previous management experience
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and time manage
• A demonstrated commitment to family-integrated care and advocacy
• An ability to foster open and supportive relationships with your team, and contribute to positive staff morale and team cohesiveness

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the NICU team in collaboration with NUMs
• Coordinate delivery of high-quality patient care in the NICU
• Raise identified concerns and implement strategies for resolution
• Liaise with the Access Manager/After Hours Manager and other staff as required
• Act as a positive role model, offering coaching and learning opportunities to staff
