Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse in the Neonatal Critical Care Unit (NCCU) to join us on a 12-month maximum term parental leave, working part time, 24 hours per week. The NCCU comprises 16 beds delivering Level 4 aligned neonatal care with family integration.

You will lead evidence-based care, support innovative practices, and contribute to a high-standard multidisciplinary team. AHPRA RN (or RN with Midwife) plus neonatal leadership experience is expected.

Formación

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or RN with Midwife Registration
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Neonatal Care environment
• Leadership experience is highly desirable
• Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
• Postgraduate neonatal qualification or equivalent is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Responsabilidades

• Actively contribute to Quality, Safety and WHS processes in the clinical area
• Support the Nurse Unit Manager in implementing quality and risk strategies
• Provide clinical guidance, leadership and education to the team
• Ensure optimal patient outcomes across the patient journey
• Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise and knowledge of neonatal care
• Maintain current knowledge and skills for ongoing professional growth
