Job summary

SRG Global seeks certified Non Destructive Testing Technicians for upcoming shutdowns at various Power stations across Australia. Opportunity for ongoing work and career development for the right candidates.

Your role as Non-Destructive Technician (Shutdown) will see you working in a large NDT, Metallurgy and Engineering team within our Power Services division across various power station outages in the Lake Macquarie and Hunter Valley on a casual basis, providing value-added inspection services

Qualifications

• ISO 9712 UT1/MT2/PT2 certification required.
• PAUT, TOFD, RT2, EC2 or IRIS is highly desirable.
• Experience in mining, industrial or power settings.
• Experience carrying out NDT inspections, analysing data and preparing reports.
• Hold a White Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets.

SRG are seeking certified Non Destructive Testing Technicians for upcoming shutdowns at various Power stations across Australia. Opportunity for ongoing work and career development for the right candidates.

This position is open to candidates based in Australia.

The Role

Your role as Non-Destructive Technician (Shutdown) will see you working in a large NDT, Metallurgy and Engineering team within our Power Services division across various Power Station Major outages within the Lake Macquarie and Hunter Valley on a casual basis. Your role as an NDT Technician will provide value adding Inspection services across a variety of client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out high integrity NDT and Inspection work
• Liaise with clients and provide clear and concise results and information as required
• Prepare and compile worksheets and reports

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• As a minimum, you will need ISO 9712 UT1 / MT2 / PT2 certification
• ISO 9712 PAUT, TOFD, RT2, EC2, IRIS is highly desirable
• Experience working in mining, industrial or power settings
• Experience carrying out NDT inspections, analysing data and preparing reports
• Hold a valid White Card, Working at Heights, and Confined Space tickets
