Job summary

SRG Global is seeking experienced NDT Inspectors for casual shutdown and project-based work across WA and SA. You will contribute to asset integrity inspections on major industrial sites, with FIFO opportunities and exposure to shutdowns, outages, and maintenance campaigns.

Key duties include planning inspection scopes, performing in-service inspections, analysing results, and delivering compliant reports in collaboration with site teams and NDT personnel.

Qualifications

• Proven NDT inspection experience, preferably in shutdown or maintenance environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Solid computer literacy and systems experience.
• Ability to work effectively in FIFO and site-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-service inspections of pipework, pumps, tanks, pressure equipment, and other fixed plant assets in accordance with relevant standards.
• Prepare inspection work scopes, including identification and coordination of required NDT methods.
• Review equipment history, analyse findings, and ensure accurate interpretation of results.
• Compile and deliver clear, compliant inspection reports to meet client and code requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site teams, inspectors, and NDT technicians during shutdown activities.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and site compliance requirements.

You will contribute to delivering critical asset integrity inspection services across major industrial sites. This role offers FIFO opportunities and exposure to a variety of shutdowns, outages, and maintenance campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-service inspections of pipework, pumps, tanks, pressure equipment, and other fixed plant assets in accordance with relevant standards


• Prepare inspection work scopes, including identification and coordination of required NDT methods


• Review equipment history, analyse findings, and ensure accurate interpretation of results


• Compile and deliver clear, compliant inspection reports to meet client and code requirements


• Work collaboratively with site teams, inspectors, and NDT technicians during shutdown activities


• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and site compliance requirements

About You

• Proven experience in a similar NDT inspection role, ideally within shutdown or maintenance environments


• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills


• Solid computer literacy and systems experience


• Ability to work effectively in FIFO and site-based environments

Desirable Skills & Certifications

• NDT Certifications: MT / PT / UT2 / RT2 / ET2


• Current Australian Driver’s Licence


• Demonstrated ability in data analysis and technical report writing


• Experience in mining, heavy industry, or process plant environments highly regarded
