Job summary

Montessori Care is seeking a casual/temporary Community Support Worker to join a well-coordinated care team. You will support a long-term NDIS participant with personal care, companionship and community access in Bomaderry, NSW.

The role requires a NSW driver licence, own vehicle and current checks (NDIS, WWCC, Police, First Aid/CPR). Experience with mental health needs is desirable and availability in the Inner West Sydney region is needed.

Qualifications

• NSW driver licence and own insured vehicle.
• Current checks: NDSWorker Screening, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR.
• Desirable: experience supporting clients with high mental health needs.
• Reliable availability in the Inner West Sydney Region.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and companionship to the participant.
• Assist with domestic tasks and gaining community access.
• Follow guidelines outlined in care plan.
• Ability to support someone with complex psychosocial needs and manage behaviours of concern.
