Job summary

Rare Care within the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) invites applications for a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Navigation and Liaison Officer. The role focuses on navigation, access and interface for NDIS and related disability supports for Rare Care consumers and families, providing knowledge to CAHS leadership and staff about disability and welfare access, eligibility and supported services.

Outpatient clinics operate across Mt Lawley and Cockburn.

Qualifications

• Experience with NDIS processes, working with the NDIS and/or its application to disability/welfare services, including entitlements, eligibility criteria and assessment processes.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with consumers, staff at all levels, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with, mentor and build capacity in consumers and their families and other providers and professionals.
