Job summary

People First Healthcare in Melbourne, VIC, is recruiting an experienced NDIS Manager to lead the operational delivery, development and performance of our NDIS function. You will oversee day-to-day NDIS operations, ensure high-quality, person-centred services and compliance with NDIS requirements.

Reporting to the Manager (Aged Care & NDIS), you will grow the NDIS service, develop the team, manage participant relationships and strengthen engagement with CALD communities while driving

The Role

We are seeking an experienced NDIS Manager to lead the operational delivery, development and performance of our NDIS function.

Reporting to the Manager (Aged Care & NDIS), you will lead and develop the NDIS team while ensuring high-quality, person-centered service delivery, strong participant outcomes and compliance with NDIS requirements.

You will oversee day-to-day NDIS operations, participant support, team performance, service utilisation, compliance, stakeholder relationships and continuous improvement. You will also play an important role in growing and developing our NDIS services and strengthening engagement with diverse and CALD communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support the NDIS team to deliver high-quality participant outcomes.
• Oversee day-to-day NDIS operations, caseloads, service delivery and participant support.
• Ensure participant support plans and services are aligned with individual needs, goals and NDIS requirements.
• Monitor team performance, KPIs, service utilisation and operational outcomes.
• Provide coaching, supervision, training and professional development opportunities to the NDIS team.
• Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, legislation, organisational policies and quality requirements.
• Monitor participant documentation, incidents, complaints, risks and safeguarding matters.
• Build strong relationships with participants, families, Support Coordinators, Plan Managers and external providers.
• Monitor NDIS funding, budgets, utilisation and financial performance in collaboration with Finance.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, systems, processes and participant outcomes.
• Support audits, reporting and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to community engagement and marketing initiatives, particularly within CALD communities.
• Work closely with the Manager (Aged Care & NDIS) on strategic initiatives, operational improvements and NDIS growth.

About You

• Demonstrated experience managing NDIS services in a management or senior operational capacity.
• Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, participant plans, service delivery and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring and developing a team.
• Experience managing participant relationships, complex matters and stakeholder escalations.
• Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, quality and safeguarding requirements.
