Job summary

Brotherhood of St Laurence is seeking a Local Area Coordinator to support people with disability in accessing community services and opportunities under the NDIS framework. You will work across Heatherton, Malvern and Frankston regions, helping participants connect with supports and navigate local systems.

Qualifications

Experience working with people with disability and communities to achieve outcomes.
Strong communication, listening and relationship-building skills.
Ability to navigate information systems and use computer programs with accuracy.

Responsibilities

Help people with disability connect with supports and community activities.
Explain and support NDIS planning and access to services.
Collaborate with participants to understand and use their NDIS plan.
Promote accessibility and inclusion in local communities.
