Job summary

Uniting is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist NDIS participants living independently in a 24/7 SIL home in Narara, NSW. This permanent part-time role starts at a minimum of 10 hours per week, with flexible rosters across 7 days and potential extra shifts as needed.

You will aid with daily living activities, personal care, and community access, while supporting education and work endeavors and ensuring safe transport using a company car. NSW license required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Disability or studying towards a relevant course.
• Experience in disability or aged care, including working with clients with complex needs.
• NSW Driver's license (can be on Green P Plates).
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check.
• Current First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Aid with daily life activities at home and in the community.
• Provide personal care, meal prep, cleaning, and transportation support.
• Assist with education and work-related activities for participants.
• Facilitate access to community, social, and recreational activities.
• Use a company car to support transportation for daily activities.
