Job summary

Choice Community Health in East Melbourne is seeking an empathetic NDIS Disability Support Worker for casual shifts across the Eastern suburbs. You will provide social and community participation support, help participants engage in activities, and walk with them toward their goals.

Casual/vacation position; pay is $36.81 per hour under SCHADS Award, Employee Level 1 Pay Point 3 (Casual). Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are required or willing to obtain; a

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide social and community participation support (appointments, outings, social groups, sports, community engagement).
• Encourage skill-building and confidence in everyday life.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to participants.
• Help participants engage in meaningful activities and pursue their interests.
• Walk alongside participants as they work towards their NDIS goals.
