Job summary

Chandler Macleod invites applications for Local Community Connector roles across Western Australia. You will provide a visible local presence, help people navigate disability supports, and collaborate with participants, service providers and community groups to promote participation and inclusion.

The 12-month APS4 contract offers travel across regional areas, the chance to work in diverse communities, and meaningful engagement with First Nations communities and local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality customer service within community, government, health, or service-focused environments.
• Ability to respond to enquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate information.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide information about disability supports, community services, and available programs.
• Support participants and service providers by gathering and verifying information.
• Assist with participant plan implementation, monitoring, and ongoing engagement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local community stakeholders.
• Promote inclusive and culturally safe community participation.
• Conduct participant check-ins and support evidence gathering activities.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in outreach activities within regional and remote communities.
