Job summary

CAE Inc in Australia is seeking an Instructor to join the Navy Defence team, delivering hands-on training across classroom, simulator, and blended learning environments.

You will prepare, facilitate, assess, and complete post-course administration, while supporting trainee development and improving training materials. Strong collaboration with Defence customers will ensure high-quality outcomes. Navy experience is highly regarded and relevant clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in electrical, electronics, or related technical discipline.
• Navy experience is highly regarded, ideally with the Royal Australian Navy.
• Defence, military, or technical training experience preferred.
• Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or willingness to obtain.
• Eligible for Australian Defence Security Clearance and Australian citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor‑led, blended, and simulator‑based training for Defence personnel.
• Prepare, facilitate, assess, and complete post‑course administration.
• Support trainee development by monitoring progress and providing feedback.
• Maintain and improve training materials and course content.
• Work closely with Defence customers to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
