Job summary

Linde PLC in Australia is seeking an experienced Workshop Operations Manager to mentor and coordinate a national team of workshop service technicians, driving safety, quality and high performance. You will establish consistent workshop procedures, plan capacity and oversee equipment maintenance, repair, testing and documentation, including SAP administration and warranty work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing service technicians while driving performance.
• Strong workshop operations expertise, including equipment maintenance, repair, testing, calibration and QA.
• Plan workforce capacity, manage workloads and optimise service delivery to meet targets.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems for service administration and billing.
• Strong problem solving and continuous improvement skills to fix issues.
• Technical qualification in engineering/electrical/mechanical disciplines preferred

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coordinate a national team of workshop service technicians.
• Establish and maintain workshop procedures and performance standards.
• Oversee equipment disinfection, testing, repair, maintenance, packaging and distribution.
• Manage workshop operations, service requests, scheduling, workflow and SAP administration.
• Coordinate customer-owned equipment servicing and warranty repairs and documentation.
• Maintain accurate service records, asset histories and compliance documentation.
• Recruit, coach and develop technicians and drive capability development.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Distribution, Sales and external manufacturers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
