Job summary

Atlas Copco in Blacktown, NSW seeks a National Workshop Manager to lead the national workshop operation from our Blacktown facility. You will guide workshop technicians and drive safety, quality and customer outcomes across the business.

The role focuses on people leadership, lean improvements, budget oversight and KPI-driven performance while building strong stakeholder relationships to enhance service delivery. Experience in workshop/manufacturing environments is required.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within a workshop, maintenance, manufacturing or service environment.
• Strong commitment to safety leadership and safe, compliant workplaces.
• Experience leading teams, managing performance and developing people.
• Strong planning and scheduling capability for workshop resources and capacity.
• Experience driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Commercial acumen with budget, KPI analysis and operational performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop workshop-based team, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Oversee workshop operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and high quality.
• Drive workforce planning, scheduling and resource utilisation to meet demand.
