Job summary

Stratco (Australia) Pty Limited is seeking an experienced National Transport & Fleet Manager to lead strategy, governance and performance of transport and fleet operations across Australia. Based at Gepps Cross, this senior role reports to the Chief Operations Officer and is responsible for safe, on-time deliveries and continuous improvement across company fleets, carriers and 3PL partners.

Qualifications

Significant leadership experience in national or multi-site transport, fleet, logistics or delivery operations.
Strong knowledge of Australian transport compliance, WHS, Chain of Responsibility and fleet governance.
Experience with ERP systems and transport management platforms.
Proven ability to influence dispersed teams and drive accountability.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Stratco's national transport and fleet strategy.
Lead transport, fleet, carrier and 3PL performance across sites and units.
Drive Return Home Safe culture and ensure compliance with transport obligations.
Optimize fleet utilisation, freight costs, delivery performance and asset lifecycle.
Establish national standards, KPIs and governance frameworks.
Improve route efficiency, freight recovery and capacity planning.
Provide national performance insights, forecasts and risk reporting to executives.
Build capability across transport leaders and operational teams nationwide.
