Job summary

LionJob is seeking an experienced National Supply Planner (Senior National Scheduler) for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Sydney. You will own Lion's integrated National Supply Plan across our brewery network, balancing production capacity, inventory and cost to deliver strong business outcomes.

You will lead RCCP, capacity analysis and scenario planning, using SAP IBP or APO or equivalent, and influence Operations, Scheduling, Demand Planning and Finance to optimize service and working

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience owning and developing medium-to-long-term supply plans in a complex FMCG environment.
• Strong RCCP capability, production capacity analysis and inventory optimisation.
• Experience using advanced supply planning tools to develop and challenge plans (SAP IBP/APO preferred).
• Ability to independently assess supply scenarios and balance service, working capital, capacity and cost.

We're looking for an experienced National Supply Planner (Internal Job Title is Senior National Scheduler) to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Sydney.

This is a great opportunity for an established supply planning professional who thrives in complex FMCG manufacturing environments, enjoys solving challenges and can confidently influence decisions across multiple sites.

Your Impact

Reporting to the Supply Planning Leader, you'll own Lion's integrated National Supply Plan, balancing product availability, production capacity, inventory and cost to deliver strong business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Own and optimise the National Supply Plan across our Australian brewery network, aligning production with demand and capacity.

Lead capacity planning, inventory optimisation and supply scenario analysis to balance service, cost and working capital.

Identify supply risks and production constraints, developing practical plans and recommendations.

Partner with Brewery Operations, Scheduling, Demand Planning, Finance and Supply Chain leadership to drive effective decisions.

Contribute to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and drive continuous improvement in planning systems and processes.

About You

We're looking for a supply planning professional who can bring proven technical expertise, sound commercial judgement and fresh thinking to a complex manufacturing network.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

Demonstrated hands‑on experience owning and developing medium‑to‑long‑term supply plans within a complex FMCG manufacturing environment.

Strong capability in Rough‑Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), production capacity analysis, inventory optimisation and supply constraint management.

Hands‑on experience using advanced supply planning and optimisation tools to develop and challenge supply plans, ideally SAP IBP, SAP APO or equivalent.

A proven ability to independently assess supply scenarios and recommend decisions that balance customer service, working capital, capacity and cost.

Experience working across manufacturing sites and influencing Operations, Scheduling, Demand Planning and Finance stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to improve planning processes and system effectiveness.

A qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline, or APICS certification, will be highly regarded.
