Job summary

Lion is seeking a Brewing & Beverage Shift Lead to manage and mentor a six-person team at The Pride, combining brewing knowledge with strong people leadership to deliver safe, reliable production. You’ll solve technical issues, coach team members, and drive improvements across safety, quality, and cost targets.

This role operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern (2pm–10pm and 10pm–6am) with a shift allowance, and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and SAP data entry to

• You’re a collaborative leader who enjoys developing people and solving problems.
• You have brewing knowledge with formal qualification or equivalent experience.
• You’ve led teams in a manufacturing environment and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support brewing and beverage problem solving to resolve process breakdowns.
• Deliver the production plan with focus on safety, quality, cost and waste.
• Drive TPM and optimisation to strengthen processes and performance.

• Ensure accurate SAP data entry with emphasis on quality and cost accuracy.

The Role

Lead a Brewing & Beverage shift team at The Pride, combining brewing knowledge with people leadership to build capability and deliver safe, reliable and right-first-time production.

• Lead and coach a team of six, building technical depth, accountability and confidence across the shift
• Support technical brewing and beverage problem solving, helping the team work through process issues and breakdowns and build capability to solve problems independently
• Deliver the production plan with a strong focus on safety, quality, reliability, cost and waste
• Drive TPM, continuous improvement and optimisation to strengthen processes and operational performance
• Build trusted relationships across shifts and functions, creating a team-first culture where people support each other to deliver shared outcomes
• Support operational projects and improvement initiatives
• Ensure timely and accurate SAP data entry, with a focus on quality and cost accuracy

This role will work an alternating shift pattern of 2pm - 10pm for two weeks and 10pm - 6am for two weeks (a shift allownace will be provided)

About You

• You’re a collaborative leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems and working as part of a team
• Technical brewing knowledge, supported by a brewing qualification or equivalent training and experience
• Experience leading and coaching teams in a manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership and use sound judgement
• Clear communication and enjoy building trusted relationships
• Learning agility, initiative and a team-first approach
