Job summary

National Salon and Spa Recruitment is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to lead national retail operations across Sydney and other sites. You will shape the retail operating model, drive product and professional trade sales, and manage supplier partnerships to maximise opportunities.

The role reports to the General Manager and offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with travel to Brisbane and Melbourne as part of ongoing expansion into new locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' retail management experience, multi-site or national experience preferred.
• Experience in beauty/hair/wellness retail is highly regarded.
• Strong commercial skills: analysing sales, margins, inventory and performance.
• Experience with retail POS and inventory management systems; Shopify is highly regarded.
• Proven people leadership, coaching and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail.
• Good Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Brisbane and Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Lead national retail operations, overseeing performance, standards, stock management and visual merchandising.
• Drive commercial performance by monitoring sales, margins and trends, translating insights into actions.
• Develop scalable retail processes to support national expansion.
• Grow sales through national strategies, promotions and incentives.
• Lead the Retail Operations team across multiple locations.
• Provide product knowledge and training to support Sales and Member Experience teams.
• Build relationships with independent business owners and brand partners.
• Oversee systems and reporting, including Shopify POS, for stock control and reporting.
• Coordinate product training and retail activations with Marketing.
