Australian Catholic University is seeking a National Manager, Payroll Services to lead a national payroll team, ensuring accurate fortnightly payroll, workers compensation, superannuation, taxation and related payments across ACU. You will drive service excellence, compliance and continuous improvement in a complex regulatory environment.

The role reports to the Associate Director - Workforce Systems, Reporting & Payroll and offers hybrid work flexibility between Brisbane and North Sydney

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a payroll team in a complex environment.
• Expertise in Aurion Payroll & HR Solutions.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Payroll Services team to deliver accurate, timely fortnightly payrolls across the organisation.
• Provide expert payroll advice and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
• Manage end-to-end payroll functions and support financial stewardship of university resources.
