Aequalis Consulting Pty partners with a leading professional services firm in Sydney CBD to recruit a Payroll Officer. You will manage payroll for 2,000+ employees across multiple sites nationwide, ensuring accuracy and compliance with PAYG, payroll tax, and long service leave.

This role suits detail-driven professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are tech-savvy in ADP Payforce, Workday HCM, and Excel, and collaborate closely with People & Culture teams to deliver seamless payroll

Qualifications

2-3 years’ experience in payroll processing within a large, multi-site organisation.
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with knowledge of national payroll legislation, PAYG, payroll tax, and long service leave.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in ADP Payforce, Workday HCM, and Microsoft Excel (or similar platforms).
Team player with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Enjoys collaborating with People & Culture teams to provide seamless payroll services.

Responsibilities

Processing payroll for 2,000+ employees across multiple sites nationwide.
Managing employee records, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
Handling end-of-month and end-of-year reconciliations and compliance reporting.
Providing payroll-related advice to the business and responding to queries.
Partnering with internal departments to enhance payroll efficiency.
