Job summary

Primary Connect, part of Woolworths Group, invites a skilled logistics leader to manage end-to-end ULD operations across three sites and drive optimisation of pallet flows. You will lead geographically dispersed teams, manage multi-million-dollar supplier contracts, and advance national compliance strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in pallet control management in supply chain logistics or network operations.
• Ability to influence and energise large, geographically dispersed operational teams.
• Track record of embedding change and leading operational teams through complex business implementations.
• A passion for data – you know how to make numbers talk and drive results.
• A high level of enthusiasm & drive for making things better, faster, and more cost-efficient.
• Experience in 2IC pallet control software system

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations for all pooled and internal Unit Load Devices (ULDs) across three sites.
• Lead the transformation and optimisation of ULD flows, minimising loss/damage and controlling costs.
• Provide strategic leadership, mentoring, and support to geographically dispersed ULD Teams and DC Returns Co-Ordinators.
• Support negotiation and management of multi-million-dollar contracts with key suppliers, with support from the Woolworths legal team.
• Support national ULD compliance strategy, lead investigations into non-conformance, and inform regional strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Primary Connect, Woolworths Supermarkets, BIG W, and other areas to develop and implement national ULD strategy.
