Job summary

Viya Imports Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory, warehousing and national distribution. The role is full-time, permanent, based in Wetherill Park with competitive salary AU$85,000 to AU$110,000 plus super.

You will develop supply plans, forecast demand, manage stock levels across states, coordinate interstate replenishment, negotiate supplier agreements, and supervise warehousing and transport operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level qualification or substantial relevant experience
• At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience
• Experience in grocery or food importing and distribution
• Strong leadership, negotiation and inventory management skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supply, storage and distribution plans and strategies.
• Forecast demand, manage stock levels and coordinate interstate replenishment.
• Maintain required grocery stock levels while minimising costs.
• Negotiate supplier agreements covering quality, pricing and delivery.
• Review inventory and storage systems to meet supply needs and control stock.
• Track incoming and outgoing goods to ensure timely replenishment.
• Coordinate dispatch and freight with internal teams and customers across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and WA.
• Oversee imports, warehousing and timely customer deliveries.
• Oversee accurate purchasing, warehousing and distribution records.
• Supervise staff and monitor performance.
