Job summary

Australia Post is seeking an Equipment & Asset Manager to lead national equipment programs and ensure asset readiness for a large logistics network. The role is based on-site in Newcastle, reporting to the National Equipment, Sustainability & Rapid Response Manager.

You will drive planning, deployment and optimisation of assets, while partnering with Operations, Procurement and Sustainability to achieve peak readiness and business continuity across Australia’s network.

Responsibilities

• Lead national equipment and asset programs across Australia Post's network.
• Plan, deploy and optimise operational equipment to maximise performance.
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, Sustainability and other functions to deliver outcomes.
• Support rapid response and business continuity during peak periods and critical events.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships to deliver strong service and outcomes.
• Support network planning to meet seasonal, peak and long-term needs.
• Champion safe, compliant asset management practices across the business.
