Job summary

RSM Sydney is seeking a detail-driven bids designer to turn dense content into compelling visual narratives. You will design and format tender responses, capability statements, pitch decks and credentials documents under tight deadlines, using PowerPoint, Word and InDesign.

Working with subject matter experts, you’ll create infographics and data visuals, maintain brand assets and templates, and mentor teammates in bid design best practices, while enjoying flexible working options.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in marketing, bids/proposals, or related support.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail in document prep, data entry, and filing structures.
• Clear, concise writing and ability to proofread for consistency.

Responsibilities

• Design and format tender responses, proposals and capability statements under tight deadlines.
• Create infographics, diagrams, org charts and data visuals to enhance reviewer comprehension.
• Maintain bids team templates, brand assets and style guides for PowerPoint/Word.
• Produce pitch decks, credentials docs, case studies and exec presentations for print and online.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and format high-quality tender responses, proposals and capability statements to a consistently professional standard, working to tight bid deadlines
• Creation of infographics, process diagrams, org charts and data visualisations that bring bid content to life and improve reviewer comprehension
• Maintain and evolve the bids team's template library, brand assets and PowerPoint/Word style guides
• Production of pitch decks, credentials documents, case studies and executive presentations for print and online distribution
• Train and mentor members of the Clients and Growth team in bid design best practice and template use

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, communications, business, law or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES

• 2-3 years' experience in marketing, bids/proposals, document management, or project support, ideally in professional services, consulting, engineering, or similar B2B environments.
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• High attention to detail in document preparation, data entry, and maintaining filing structures.
• Good written communication skills, with confidence in proofreading and light editing for clarity and consistency.
• Comfortable using digital tools and systems (e.g., document management, CRM, proposal platforms) and eager to learn AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborative mindset with a service-oriented approach and ability to build strong working relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with strong general computer literacy.
