Job summary

WSP is seeking an Aviation Planning Lead to shape the national growth strategy and strengthen market presence across Australia. You will guide strategy, client engagement and integrated solutions in aviation planning with senior leadership oversight.

You will build a high-performing team across disciplines, lead major pursuits, and develop capabilities while maintaining a focus on delivering value to airport operators and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in aviation planning, strategy, transport infrastructure or consulting.
• Strong grasp of airport planning, forecasting and master planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop national aviation planning growth strategy aligned with the T&I plan.
• Identify and secure strategic opportunities across airport, government and private sector clients.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with airport executives, aviation authorities, regulators and investors.
• Lead capability development, workforce growth and recruitment of aviation planning talent.
• Drive technical excellence and innovation across airport master planning, forecasting, and digital aviation.
• Support major pursuits through governance, risk management and commercial decisions.
