Job summary

Auriga Group in Australia is seeking an experienced Logistics & Supply Manager to lead the national aviation logistics and supply chain for the Aviation division. You will ensure parts, materials and services are available on time to support safe, compliant operations across our helicopter fleet.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in aviation logistics, aircraft supply chain management or a comparable regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of aviation inventory management, material traceability, and stock integrity.
• Experience supporting geographically dispersed operations where supply performance impacts availability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a national logistics and inventory strategy aligned with fleet, maintenance and operational requirements.
• Establish stockholding frameworks for critical spares, rotables, consumables, tooling and base inventory.
• Analyse demand patterns, lead times and operational criticality to optimise inventory holdings.
• Identify supply continuity risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead logistics responses for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and other time-critical requirements.
• Coordinate sourcing, expediting, freight and stakeholder communications during urgent supply events.
• Balance competing operational priorities across multiple locations and fleets.
• Oversee procurement activities in line with company policies and delegated authorities.
• Monitor supplier performance and proactively manage delivery risks.
• Oversee end-to-end management of repairables, exchanges, overhauls and warranty claims.
• Ensure efficient tracking and control of assets throughout the repair cycle.
• Monitor turnaround times and overdue core returns.
• Lead reporting on inventory performance, supplier outcomes, and KPIs.
