Job summary

Future You is seeking an experienced National Asset & Maintenance Manager to lead a national portfolio valued at over $10 million. Based in Western Sydney, the role involves developing a best-practice asset management framework and transitioning from reactive maintenance to a structured preventative program.

Regular travel to Queensland sites is required. The role reports to the Executive General Manager and requires strong stakeholder engagement, capital planning, and a hands-on yet strategic

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing asset and maintenance functions at regional, state, or national level.
• Experience in asset lifecycle management, preventative maintenance, and warranty management.
• Strong governance of contractors and external providers across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete asset lifecycle across multiple sites, including performance monitoring and risk management.
• Develop and maintain a national asset register.
• Manage capex and maintenance budgets to optimise total cost of ownership.
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules for plant, equipment, cranes, forklifts, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate external contractors, service providers, and OEM relationships.
• Ensure warranty obligations, service requirements and statutory compliance are met.
• Monitor asset health and reliability to reduce downtime.
• Partner with Operations, WHS, and leadership to support performance and compliance objectives.
• Provide strategic input into facility relocation and major infrastructure projects.
• Deliver clear reporting and recommendations on asset performance and investment needs.
