Job summary

Appoint on the Gold Coast is seeking an Asset & Maintenance Manager to lead a hands-on maintenance function for a fleet of trucks, dozers, excavators and heavy equipment. You will drive reliability, lifecycle planning and asset optimization across site infrastructure and fixed plant.

The role focuses on leading maintenance teams, coordinating contractors, and delivering commercial discipline through data-driven decision making and robust CMMS usage.

Qualifications

• Experience managing maintenance across fixed plant, infrastructure and mobile assets.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and maintenance activities.
• Sound commercial judgement across reliability, lifecycle planning and asset replacement.
• Using data to drive asset performance with CMMS.
• Solutions-focused leadership with stakeholder skills across operations, maintenance, projects and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across the asset base
• Manage maintenance contractors, suppliers and compliance requirements
• Improve fleet reliability, availability and maintenance performance
• Manage maintenance expenditure and asset lifecycle decisions
• Maintain accurate asset and maintenance systems
• Partner with Site Managers and senior leadership on operational priorities, fleet renewal and upgrades
